Manage navigation preferences

As a crew leader, you can personalize which features appear in your navigation bar so the tools you use most are easily accessible.

Things to know

  • Your system administrator must enable Mobile Navigation Preferences for your system before you can customize navigation.

  • You can pin up to 5 features to your bottom navigation bar.

  • At least 1 feature must stay in the navigation panel to save settings.

  • Features not pinned to the navigation panel display in the menu.

  • Your preferences save locally to your device and will not carry over if you log in to another device.

  • The Equipment Service Request and Request Equipment Service features cannot be pinned to your bottom navigation panel.

Navigation overview

You can select the following options to add to your navigation panel:

  • Issues

  • Tickets

  • Time

  • Time Log

  • Today

Customize your navigation panel

  1. From your account settings, select Manage Navigation.

  2. In the Navigation Preferences screen, touch and drag a feature from the More section to an empty slot in the Active section to add it to your navigation panel.

    1. Features in the More section are available to add but not currently in your navigation panel. They are still accessible in your account settings if you do not add them to your panel.

    2. Features in the Active sections are currently in your panel.

  3. Drag a feature from Active to More to remove it from your panel.

  4. Rearrange the order of features in the Active section by dragging them to a new position.

  5. Check the preview at the bottom to see how your navigation panel will look.

  6. Select Save.

Note

If you remove all features from the Active section, the Save button is disabled. You will see a message that says, "Drag and drop at least one item to save navigation."

Default navigation

If you haven't customized your navigation (or if your admin has disabled navigation preferences), you will see the following options depending on your configured role:

  • Crew Leader: Daily Plan, Ticket Schedule, Open Issues, Time Tracking. Menu: Time Log, Settings, Force Sync, Logout.

  • Crew Member: Time Tracking. Menu: Time Log, Settings, Force Sync, Logout.
