Aspire snow mode

Snow mode changes the Crew Mobile App behavior to improve operational efficiency during winter seasons in colder climates. The system administrator can set the Aspire system into snow mode by checking the Snow Mode checkbox on the Application tab of the Application Configuration screen. Enabling snow mode will provide an option on the Login screen of the Crew Mobile App to turn on snow mode for the session.
If you enable snow mode before logging into the Crew Mobile App, Aspire will do the following:
- Limit the services available in the mobile time app to those associated with the Snow division. Note that the word “snow” must be included in the division name.
- Limit the available catalog items displayed by the mobile time app to those whose item category contains the string “snow.”
- Limit the routes available on the Schedule screen in the mobile time app to those that are in the Snow division.
It is common to enable snow mode in Aspire during the snow season, and then disable it when the snow season ends.
