Assign equipment to a crew member

 Use the below-listed information to assign an equipment asset to a specific crew member for recordkeeping from the Start/Stop Work screen. 

Configuration requirements 

These requirements must be met to add time to an equipment item from the app. 

  • Allow Equipment Time Reporting must be enabled on the details screen for the route associated with the work ticket. 
  • The equipment item must have the Allocate from Mobileadministrative function enabled. 
    • Best Practice Tip: The purchase and allocation units should be specified as hours.

Instructions 


1. After ensuring the above-listed requirements are met, select the equipment selector button underneath the crew member name to which you want to associate an equipment item on the Start/Stop Work screen.              

2. Select the equipment asset from the Select equipment screen. 

  • Remember to associate an equipment item with a crew member before selecting Start Work.
  • The Select equipment drop-down will contain equipment included in the opportunity or as a subcontractor expense associated with the work ticket. 

3. Select the Back button to return to the Ticket details screen. 

Keep in Mind 

  • Equipment is allocated to a job based on the time spent and the unit price designated in the item catalog. 
  • This feature is not available for all users. If you do not have the option to associate equipment with a crew member, reach out to an administrator to see if the feature is supported for your company.
