Clock time correction requests
Submit a Clock Time Correction Request in Aspire Mobile to update inaccurate clock-in or clock-out times. This feature ensures payroll accuracy by allowing employees to request changes while maintaining a record of approvals. Managers review and respond to requests within Aspire Cloud.
Pre-requisites
- The Time Log correction request feature is available only when the Allow Correction Requests in Mobile setting is enabled in Branch Configuration in Aspire Cloud.
- An online connection is required to ensure clock time data remains accurate and up to date, as corrections impact payroll.
Steps to review your weekly timesheet and request time corrections:
- Tap the User icon to open the Account Navigation panel.
- Select Time Log from the menu.
- The Time Log displays your weekly logged hours.Tip:A warning icon indicates that the timesheet contains a conflict.
- The Time Log displays your weekly logged hours.
- Choose a day to view the daily time entry details.
- Tap the clock time you'd like to edit, then select the new time from the time picker. The Hours will update accordingly.
- Add details in the Employee Notefield (up to 500 characters).Tip:Review your manager's response in the Manager Note field once available.
- Select Send Change Request, then Yes on the confirmation modal to submit your request.
Results
After submitting a time correction request, you are redirected to the Time Log screen. Days with a submitted request display the request’s status, which updates to Pending, Approved, or Denied based on its current state.
When you submit a time correction request through Aspire Mobile, the system generates an alert in the web application’s Resource Center. This alert, labeled Pending Time Correction Requests, notifies operations managers of the request for review. For more information, see Pending Time Correction Request Alert.
