Data refresh options

Article summary

To ensure Aspire Mobile is providing the most up-to-date information to you, there are four ways in which the information in Aspire Mobile can be refreshed. 

Refresh Methods

  • Force sync - you can manually sync the app by selecting the force sync option in the left corner at the bottom of the Aspire Mobile Navigation Panel.

  • Pull to refresh - When you are on the Daily Plan, Ticket Schedule, Open Issues, or Time Tracking screens, you can swipe downwards on your screen to refresh.

 

  • Log-in refresh - a sync will automatically occur every time you log back into the app.
  • Menu navigation auto refresh - when you navigate a different menu option (Ticket Schedule, Daily Plan, Time Tracking, Issues), a sync will automatically occur.
  • You will receive a message stating that you are offline upon initiating a refresh, informing you to refresh again when online to sync any data submitted while offline. 
  • A message at the bottom of the screen will display a date timestamp for your most recent sync on the Daily Plan, Documents, Attachments, Tickets, Issues, and Time screen. 
  • The app shows a spinner indicator when processing items and provides a message stating Your records are currently uploading to the server. Keep the app open while records are uploaded. If you close the app, the process will not be completed.
