Overview
Start and stop work on a ticket to record time spent on a job in Aspire. You can find all assigned tickets on the Daily Plan or Tickets screen after clocking in for the day. Crew leaders can start/stop work for one or several crew members so that the time spent on a job is correctly recorded.
Things to know
Crew leaders can manage time for multiple crew members.
Your location is recorded when you select Start.
Work time stops automatically when you clock out.
Requirements
To start work on a ticket, you must be clocked in for the day and assigned to the ticket.
If you have custom forms that require weather data, you must give Aspire Mobile access to your location to auto-fill weather metrics.
If you need to manage other crew members, you must have crew leader permissions.
You must have Allow Equipment Time Reporting permission added to your user role to attach equipment to crew member time entry records in Aspire Mobile.
Steps
Follow these steps to start or stop work on a ticket.
From the Daily Plan > Tickets.
Select a ticket.
Open Start/Stop Work.

Select one of the following:
If you use equipment, select the equipment field (No equipment by default) and search for the tools you need to record time for.
Select Start to begin tracking time.
Work tickets for single or multiple services can be linked to a Start Ticket form. This form lets you complete a safety assessment before work begins.
If more than one pay code override or a default pay code override exists, you will see the Select Pay Code screen. Selecting a pay code is optional.

Select Stop to end tracking time.
If your organization has work ticket completion forms set up, you might need to fill a Complete Work Ticket form.

Note
As a crew member, you can clock in from different devices but can only have one clock-in/out record at a time. If you are clocked in from one device and log into the Aspire Mobile app from a different device, you will see the option to clock out since you are already clocked in.
Select Pay Code appears after you start work if more than one pay code override or a default pay code override exists for an opportunity service. Selecting a pay code is optional; select None (Default).
You can switch equipment recorded on a work ticket while time is actively running. This is useful if you realize you chose the wrong equipment after starting time on a ticket and need to replace it, or if more than one piece of equipment is used for the same ticket.
Follow the steps below to change equipment after starting time on a ticket.
Select the equipment field.
Search for the equipment in the search bar.
Select the equipment you need to record time for.
Select Correct Equipment to replace a previous selection. This option replaces the current equipment with the selected new equipment and applies it to the time already logged on the work ticket.
Select Start Time on New Equipment to add new equipment to the same ticket. This option stops the time logged on the current equipment and starts a new time log entry for the new equipment.

Note
If you are a crew leader, you can select and change the equipment recorded for each crew member on their assigned ticket.
You can only select and record time for one piece of equipment at a time.
Tips
If you are a crew leader, you can start and stop time for other crew members by selecting the Start, Stop, Start All, or Stop All options. Selecting Start All or Stop All will start/stop tickets for every crew member regardless of if they started or stopped time on a ticket.
You can complete tickets offline and sync them later.
Aspire auto-fills Start Work Ticket and Complete Work Ticket forms for you when you are online. Crew leaders can overwrite these fields at any time.

What happens next
Once a ticket is complete, a green completed ribbon displays on the ticket, and the ticket will appear at the end of the ticket list on the Ticket Schedule screen.

The Start option might be unavailable if you have not clocked in for the day.
Why can I not stop time on my work ticket?
You might need to fill out a required form, such as a Complete Work Ticket form.
Why did time on a ticket stop automatically?
Time recorded on a ticket stops when you clock out or take a lunch.
Why are weather fields in the Start Work Ticket and Complete Work Ticket forms not auto-filled?
You need to enable location tracking on your device for Aspire to fill weather fields for you. If you do not want weather fields to auto-fill, you can enter data manually.
When I am clocking in my crew members, why can't I also clock their equipment in at the same time?
If you are a crew leader and don't see the option to add equipment to your crew member's clock in time, check with your office staff to make sure you have Allow Equipment Time Reporting added to your user role.
