# Receiving notification emails for approved or rejected submittals

Receive automatic email notifications when a recipient approves or rejects your submittal, eliminating the need to manually check its status in the portal.

**How It Works**

- When a submittal recipient approves or rejects a submittal, the system sends you an email notification.
- The email contains a direct link to view the submittal in the Collaboration Portal.

**Receiving Notification Emails**

1. Submit a submittal in the Collaboration Portal.
2. When the recipient reviews the submittal, they will either **Approve** or **Reject** it.
3. Upon approval or rejection, you will receive an email notification.
4. Open the email and select the provided link to log into the portal and view the updated status.
