Understanding the Action needed badge

Easily identify submittals that require your response with the Action needed badge.

What is the Action needed badge?

• The Action needed badge appears on submittals that require your response.

• It helps you quickly locate pending submittals that need attention.

Responding to submittals with the Action needed badge

1. On the Submittals list, locate a submittal marked with the Action needed badge.

2. Select anywhere on the submittal row to open the Submittal Details screen.

3. Review the submittal and take the necessary action (e.g., approve, reject, or provide a response).

4. Once you respond, the Action needed badge is removed, and the system sends an email notification to the relevant stakeholders with your response.

The badge does not display:

• If a submittal no longer requires action.

• If the submittal's due date has passed.
