The contact screens allow you to manage contacts. They can create lists of contacts filtered and displayed in various ways providing the following capabilities:
- With the Add Contact permission, you can add new employees and create contact lists to manage employees. Some employee management functions are limited to users who have HR Admin or System Admin permissions.
- Sales can create properties associated with new prospects or customers and establish contact lists to manage interactions with them.
- Operations managers can create subcontractor contacts and lists to manage their interactions with subcontractors.
- Purchasing may choose to maintain vendor contact information in the contact table.
Note:
Vendors imported into Aspire from integrated financial systems such as QuickBooks are not placed into the list of contacts. Rather they are placed into the administrative vendor list that is managed from the Admin List Vendor screen.
Because you can add new contact types, they will likely discover other ways to utilize Aspire contacts.
