Contacts in Aspire allow you to add custom fields to collect information that could otherwise not be tracked. For example, you might decide that for every contact, you want to track whether they have a pet. For that purpose, you could add a Has Pets field to become available for all contacts.
With a System Admin permission, you can add new custom fields for a contact. Once a field has been added, it becomes available to all users who can edit contacts. The layout of the Custom Fields area of the Contact screen is visually different for standard users and system administrators.
If you do not have the System Admin permission and who can edit contacts can only provide values in the custom fields that have been added.
If you do have System Admin permission can additionally modify the custom fields. For the system administrator to initiate a modification of custom fields, they will select
This displays the Manage Custom Fields screen that allows the Admin to customize existing or add new fields.
When the system administrator saves the contact, any changes to custom fields will be saved.
