 The Equipment Manufacturer screen is displayed from the Equipment Manufacturers Search List screen when you click the New Equipment Manufacturer icon or click an existing manufacturer from the list to view or edit. |
The screen simply enables you to specify the name of the manufacturer. Later, when you establish equipment models used for defining equipment, you will be able to select the manufacturer for the model.
Click on the More menu to view the option to delete the manufacturer. The delete option will only be enabled if the manufacturer has not yet been linked to an equipment model.
