Event-Based Reporting for Snow Events Guide
What's New?
Leverage performance and financial data tied to Work Tickets for Snow Events by using these additional fields to group and sort data in the Weather Events Report.
Logging a New Weather Event
When creating a new event in the Event Log, you must ensure that the start and end date/time are as accurate as possible. To get to the Log Event screen, take the following steps:
1. Navigate to the Invoicing module.
2. Select Log Event.
3. Click on the New button that will be on the right portion of the screen.
4. Select the Branch for which you are logging the snow event.
5. Enter the Start Date/Time and End Date/Time for the snow event.
6. Select the applicable Zip Codes. The Zip Code field auto-populates with the zip codes of any property in the assigned branch for which work tickets have time or materials allocated during the time range of the event.
- Before the zip codes field is selectable, you must fill in the Branch, Start Date/Time, and End Date/Time fields first.
7. Click Save.
Reviewing a Weather Event Report
Users can group Work Tickets by event based on work tickets’ property zip codes and those zip codes’ designations in the event log. Please note that providing zip codes is required when you are logging an event if you want that event to be displayed on the Weather Event report.
