“Quick tickets” is an Aspire feature that supports the reporting of time for a task on the fly through a mobile device without going through the proposal process. Typically, this capability is used for irrigation repairs wherein the technician is scheduled ahead of time for irrigation system inspections, but then discovers that certain T&M repairs or maintenance are required. The additional T&M repair or maintenance can be performed using the quick tickets capability.
Crew leaders can initiate quick tickets from the New button on the Schedule screen in the Crew Mobile App as depicted in the diagram below, and then select Create New Ticket after choosing a property.
Once a crew leader has initiated work on a quick ticket in the field, the quick ticket shows up in the Time Entry screen available to office staff through the Schedule Board screen. At this point, there is no actual work ticket associated with the quick ticket.
The office staff member can perform one of the following to associate the time and materials with a work ticket:
- Apply the time and materials from the quick ticket to an existing work ticket
- Create a new work order based on a previously established Quick Work Order Template
