An Invoice is a bill that you send to your customers for work your company completed for them. The Invoicing module is where you prepare, review, send, track, and receive payment for invoices.
The Invoicing Module
The Invoicing module has eight tabs, each with a different important function. Every tab in this module contains a list, and like most other lists, you can use the usual filter, display, sort, and group actions and save your selections as saved searches.

Invoicing assistant tab
The Invoicing Assistant tab shows a list of all the work your company can invoice to clients. Unlike other list screens, the Invoicing Assistant list also provides additional quick access filter drop-downs to filter Invoices by Date, Properties, Branches, Invoice Types, and Invoice Timing. Invoice Batches tab
Invoices are typically generated in batches comprised of many related invoices. The Invoice Batches tab is like a holding area where you review invoices before sending them to customers. Learn more in our video article about Invoice batching.
Invoices tab
This tab is where you review sent and draft Invoice Batches. Learn more in our video article about the Invoices tab.
Receivables tab
This tab is where you track balances owed and add payments. Learn more in our video article about the Receivables tab.
Payments tab
This tab is where you review payments received and make deposits. Learn more in our video article about receiving payments.
Deposits tab
This tab is where you can review past deposits. Learn more in our article about Using the Deposits Screen.
Log Event tab
This tab is mainly useful during Snow Season to add information about a weather event. Weather events are usually snow events such as "Snow 1/3/2026." Events appear on all invoices in a batch so customers know what happened and when. Learn more in our article about Logging Weather Events.
Electronic Payment Log tab
This tab shows a list of electronic payments received from customers. Learn more in our article about Setting Up Electronic Payments.
