Article summary

After clocking in for the day, record your time on a specific job by selecting the work ticket from either Daily Plan or Tickets screen and tapping Start Work. The option to start work is only available after you or another crew member clocks in first. As a crew leader, you can start and stop work for an individual or all crew members so that the time spent on a job is correctly recorded.

Start/Stop Work Overview

  1. Crew members - list of crew members associated with the work ticket. As a crew leader, you can start and stop time for yourself under this list. You will see the first and last names of the crew member displayed.
  2.  Stop - stop the work time under the selected crew member.
    1. You can see the option to Complete a ticket after you have logged time and select Stop. Work tickets composed of a single service and those containing multi-services will be marked as completed on the ticket screen, indicating that the work from the visit was completed and not necessarily all services have been completed. All completed work tickets will be flagged with a green completed ribbon.
    2. As a crew member, you can clock in from different devices but can only have one clock-in/out record at a time. So if you are clocked in from one device and log in to the Aspire Mobile app from a different device, you will see the option to clock out since you are already clocked in.
    3. Once a ticket is complete, a green completed ribbon will appear on the ticket, and the ticket will appear at the end of the ticket list on the Ticket Schedule screen.
    4. After you successfully clock out for lunch or the end of the day, time for work is automatically stopped.
    5. If configured, you must complete and submit a complete ticket form before you can stop work.
    6. Tickets can be completed when you are offline.
  3. Start - start the work time under the selected crew member. Your geolocation is captured after you select Start.
    1. Work tickets composed of a single service and those containing multi-services can be linked to a Start Ticket custom form. This form enables Crew Leaders to complete a safety assessment before work begins. For more information, see the Ticket forms article in the Aspire User Guide.
    2.  Select Pay Code appears after you start work if more than one pay code override or a default pay code override exists for an opportunity service. Selecting a pay code is optional; select None (Default)
  4. Equipment Selector - select an equipment asset to associate with a crew member.
  5.  Stop All  - for all members who have started or Start All for all who have not Started or Stopped work.

Daily Plan: Navigating to the Start/Stop Work
