What’s New?

Filterable tracker-type visual indicators have been added to the Equipment Location Search screen. Use this new feature to swiftly spot the location of primary, non-primary, and asset equipment with trackers installed on the map.

Requirements

You must meet the following requirements to view and filter trackers on the equipment location screen.

  •  permission is enabled to your user role.
  • Must have a tracker provided by Fleetsharp or Azuga installed on the equipment.

Accessing the Equipment Location Search Screen

Navigate to the equipment location search screen using these steps:

  1. Choose Scheduling on the Main Menu
  2. Select the more actions menu.
  3. Choose Equipment Location Search
  4. The tracker-type filters are at the top of your screen below the page header.

Overview of Tracker Filters

Given that all requirements are met, view and adjust tracker-type filters using the following criteria.

  1. Manager - use this menu to select a Route Manager. By default, the manager displayed is the same route manager selected on the Schedule Board.
  2. Routes - You can select one or more routes to view on the map. Only routes assigned to the route manager are available in this menu.
  3. Tracker Types - the tracker type icons indicate if the tracker installed on the vehicle is the route's primary, non-primary, or asset vehicle. The direction of the tracker represents the real-time direction of travel for the vehicle.

  • The color of the tracker represents the same color as the route to which the vehicle is associated.
  • Hover over the icon of the map to view the route name and contact information for the crew leader.

  • The map view will automatically refresh when changes are made to the filter criteria.
  • By default, the map zoom function will automatically adjust to display all retrievable trackers as closely as possible.
