Not only do these enhancements improve the overall look and feel of the interface, but they will also significantly improve your productivity.

The list below is an overview of the user interface improvements you'll find in this release:

  • Opportunity Improvements - several enhancements have been added to the Opportunities module to create greater ease when carrying out tasks related to an opportunity.
  • System and User Settings - improvements have created more organization and uniformity.
  • Side Panel Menus - This game-changing feature allows you to click a link or link icon to view contextual contact and property information relating to the details of a property, opportunity, invoice, or work ticket in a side panel on the same details screen.

System and User Settings

System Settings Menu

The Settings menu has been converted into a pop-out menu encompassing all system setting options accessed by selecting your contact name, displayed at the bottom of the sidebar navigation menu for convenience. Select the menu to access the following options: Greenius, Administration, User Settings, Report an Issue, About Aspire, and Log OutClick outside the pop-up menu or navigate to a different screen to close the menu.

  • Greenius only appears if your company uses this LMS with Aspire. It will open in a new window upon selection.
  • The Administration menu is only visible if you have admin permission assigned to your user role.
  • User Settings displays the settings for your user account.
  • About Aspire allows you to view versioning details and test the connection to the server using the Test Ping button.
  • Log Out - close application session.

Sidebar navigation menu

Essential yet subtle modifications have been implemented to the left navigation menu to improve your overall experience. Below is an overview of the navigation menu updates.

  1. The Quick Menu icon has been revamped to align with the style of the accompanying menu icons.
  2. 💭 To increase the use of the search tool, results display in a solid white color instead of transparent and offer a convenient way to return to the menu and see recent activity.
  • Return to the menu by clicking the Back arrow.
  • Click the See All Recent Activity link to view the Recent Activity screen.
  1. The activities icon has been updated to match the style of the other menu icons.

User Settings

The User Settings page has been updated so you can easily find the specific setting you need. Notably, you will find that the Sync and Dashboard sections have been reorganized. Now, you will find within the sync section that the provider options are on the left side, while the sync settings are conveniently located on the right. Dashboard customizations is now a Dashboard subheading underneath a new section called Application Preference, which also contains Application settings specific to User Settings.

Opportunity improvements

The following are updates that have been made to improve your experience managing work tickets related to a specific opportunity and managing options on the opportunities detail screen.

Opportunity Work Ticket tab overview

  1. Work Tickets tab now exists on the Opportunities details screen so you can easily access and manage work tickets associated with an opportunity. Upon selecting the Work Tickets tab, you will be directed to the Opportunity Work Tickets search list that contains work tickets related to the specific opportunity.
  2. The Bulk Actions menu enables you to manage multiple work tickets efficiently and simultaneously. You can completeapprovecanceluncancel, delete As Needed Tickets, and update the Anticipated Start Date of work tickets.
  3. Search list actions - Save As, My Default, Reset Advanced Search, Print Screen, Export to Excel (Current View), and Export to Excel(All Fields) are in the More Actions menu.
  4. You can use fields in this search list to perform the actions available on most search lists within Aspire - search, filter, display, sort, group, and save curated search lists.
  5. Click to select Recurring Schedule to view and update the Job Service Schedule for a work ticket.

Opportunities detail screen

Notes and proposal descriptions related to an opportunity estimate are now categorized under tabs corresponding to a single RTE (rich text editor), eliminating the need for separate RTEs for each note section. On the Opportunity details screen, you will find the following tabs above the RTE:

  • Proposal Description 1
  • Proposal Description 2
  • Opportunity Invoice Notes
  • Estimator Note

The tab you selected appears highlighted in blue, while the other tabs are greyed out so that you know which heading you are leaving a note under.

Additionally, the Opportunities detail screen now includes conveniently placed buttons to email or print a proposal on the right side of the proposal/notes RTE. This enhancement provides an additional and more visible way to initiate action to get proposals out to your customers more quickly. These options will also continue to be available in the More Actions menu.
