On the Home page, Aspire provides a Dashboard section comprising a series of elements (dials) that report on metrics that you define. It is recommended to set up dials that are relevant to your job responsibilities. You define dashboard elements based on fields you have set up and saved in search lists.
When you log in, the dashboard elements update based on current data in Aspire.
Throughout the day, unless you log out and back into the system or click one of the refresh icons, Aspire does not refresh the dashboard elements.
The following table describes the elements in the Dashboard section of the Home screen.
Screen Element | Description |
New KPI Element | Clicking New on a KPI element brings up the Metric screen allowing you to create a new KPI element. |
Edit | Clicking Edit on a KPI element brings up the Metric Element screen for that metric item. Here you can make changes and save the dashboard element. |
Configuration Mode | Clicking Configuration on a KPI element raises the Metric Configuration screen. This screen allows you to modify and/or reorder the metric elements. |
Refresh All | Clicking Refresh All refreshes all dashboard elements by re-reading data and rendering the dials. This might be useful if someone updates the underlying data and the user wants the change to be immediately reflected in their dashboard dials. |
Delete | Clicking Delete on a KPI element brings up the Confirm screen. The user can confirm their selection or cancel to leave the Dashboard Element on the Dashboard. |
Refresh Metric Element | Clicking this icon refreshes the individual dashboard element by re-reading data and rendering the dial. |
