6.15.0 GPS Tracking Enhancements
What’s New?
Filterable tracker-type visual indicators have been added to the Equipment Location Search screen. Use this new feature to swiftly spot the location of primary, non-primary, and asset equipment with trackers installed on the map.
Requirements
You must meet the following requirements to view and filter trackers on the equipment location screen.
- Full Access to Schedule Board permission is enabled to your user role.
- Enable Aspire GPS Integration .
- Must have a tracker provided by Fleetsharp or Azuga installed on the equipment.
Accessing the Equipment Location Search Screen
Navigate to the equipment location search screen using these steps:
- Choose Scheduling on the Main Menu.
- Select the more actions menu.
- Choose Equipment Location Search.
- The tracker-type filters are at the top of your screen below the page header.
Overview of Tracker Filters
Given that all requirements are met, view and adjust tracker-type filters using the following criteria.
- Manager - use this menu to select a Route Manager. By default, the manager displayed is the same route manager selected on the Schedule Board.
- Routes - You can select one or more routes to view on the map. Only routes assigned to the route manager are available in this menu.
- Tracker Types - the tracker type icons indicate if the tracker installed on the vehicle is the route's primary, non-primary, or asset vehicle. The direction of the tracker represents the real-time direction of travel for the vehicle.
- the primary vehicle assigned to the route with a valid tracker. - vehicles assigned to crew members on the route that have valid trackers but are not designated as the primary vehicle for the route.
- an equipment item with an installed, valid tracker.
- The color of the tracker represents the same color as the route to which the vehicle is associated.
- Hover over the icon of the map to view the route name and contact information for the crew leader.
- The map view will automatically refresh when changes are made to the filter criteria.
- By default, the map zoom function will automatically adjust to display all retrievable trackers as closely as possible.
