What’s New? 

Identify and categorize Divisions and Service Types when mapping out your accounting integrations with Aspire using new integration code fields that can be added to division and service type lists. 

Requirements 

  • You will need the System Admin Permission  to create integration codes that can be added to Division and Service Type Lists. 
  • You must have access to the Aspire External API. 

Configuration

You must create the integration codes to add to the Divisions and Service Type lists. 

Creating a Division Integration Code 

  1. Go to the Administration menu. 
  2. Select Application
  3. Choose Lists
  4. Navigate to the Lists menu. 
  5. Select Division Integration Code.  
  6. Create a name reflecting how you want to identify the divisions within the external software.  
  7. Save


Creating a Service Type Integration Code 

  1. Go to the  Administration menu.  
  2. Select Application
  3. Choose Lists
  4. Navigate to the Lists menu. 
  5. Select Service Type Integration Code
  6. Create a Service Type name to help you identify the service type within your integrating software. 
  1. Save. 

  • The newly created names will appear in the respective advanced search lists.
  • You can modify or delete existing Service Types and Division integration codes. 
    • Only integration codes that are not in use can be deleted. 
  • Existing integration codes are alphabetically sorted on the advanced search list by default. 
  • You can filter, group, sort, and display using the following fields for both integration code types: 
    • Integration Code name 
    • Active status 
    • In-Use status 

Using Integration Codes 

Associate the integration codes to a Division or Service by adding them to the corresponding administrative lists using these steps: 

Adding Division Integration Code to Division List

  1. Go to the Administration menu.  
  2. Select Application
  3. Choose Lists.  
  4. Select Division
  5.  Navigate to the Division Integration Code (formerly the integration code field) list on the Division details screen and select the code that should be applied. 
  6. Save

Adding a Service Type Integration Code to a Service Type List

  1. Go to the Administration menu. 
  2. Select Application. 
  3. Choose Lists.
  4. Select Service Type
  5.  Navigate to the Service Type Integration Code list (formerly the integration code field) and select the code that should be applied to the Service Type
  6. Select Save

  • Only active integration codes appear in the menu. 
  • Inactive integration codes can remain in use. 
  • For recordkeeping, division and service type integration codes marked as inactive on the Service Type or Division integration code lists will remain on the associated division/service type list until removed or until a different integration code is selected.
