Adding a New Service by Copying an Existing One

  • PDF

Article summary

Once you modify the work order to remove the azaleas from the plan for the back yard, you can create a new service for the front yard. Because the front yard will use similar plants to those planned for the back yard, copy the front yard service by selecting Copy from the More drop-down menu to the right of the item. You will be asked to confirm the copy.

Once you confirm, the new item is added to the service screen.  Click the new service link to launch the Service Details screen. Modify the quantities to the appropriate values. Change the name of the newly added service to reflect that it represents the front yard and select the Separate Work Ticket checkbox so that Aspire will generate a separate work ticket for the front yard work. Once you click Save, Aspire will update the Service Name on the estimate to match the name specified.

Note:
When copying or changing an opportunity service in a change order, the only tickets available to link the opportunity service to are those tickets that match that service in the catalog and the service’s invoice type.
