The Certification screen allows you to add a new certification or edit an existing certification. It is displayed by clicking the Add Certification icon or by clicking on an existing certification on the HR tab of the Contact screen. Access the certification screen by selecting Contacts from the Main Menu, and scrolling down to the Certifications section of the page.
Screen Element | Description |

Newa | Select New to open the Certification dialog to add a new certification. |
More Actionsb | Click on More actions to either edit or delete a certification entry. |
New/Edit Certification Dialog
The following window will populate when you select New or Edit so that you can add or modify information associated with a certification.
The following table describes the available screen elements.
Screen Element | Description |
---|---|
Certification Type | Required. Selected from available certification types added on the Admin Lists screen. If you have the System Admin permission, then the label for this field is displayed as a hyperlink allowing them to go directly to the Certification Type screen to add or edit certification types, and then return to select one. |
Certification Number | Enables you to add the certification identification number to the certification record so that it can be used throughout the Aspire system. 50 characters are the maximum limit. |
Certification Date | Required. Allows you to specify the date on which the certification became effective. |
Expiration Date | Allows you to specify the date on which the certification expires. |
Cancel | Clicking this returns to the Contact screen without saving the certification. |
Save | Clicking this saves any changes made to the certification and returns to the Contact screen. |
