Aspire supports entry and tracking of employee time for both payroll and customer billing purposes. Overall time spent is tracked by clocking in and out at the beginning of each day and for breaks. Time spent on individual jobs is tracked by providing a start and stop time for each job.
Aspire allows crew members to clock in and out of a job using a mobile device (i.e. iPhone, iPad, or Android phone or tablet) with the Crew Mobile App. Companies that utilize mobile time reporting typically provide a single device to a crew leader for the entire crew. Individual crewmembers clock in and out using that device. The crew leader is responsible for starting and stopping individual jobs during the day.
The Aspire Desktop interface typically used by office staff has full and final control over clock-in/clock-out times and time allocated to specific jobs. It will allow office staff to enter time on behalf of crew members, as well as editing time submitted from the field.
