Equipment Class Screen

The Equipment Class screen is displayed from the Equipment Classes Search List screen when you click the New Equipment Class icon or click an existing class in the list to view or edit.

The screen simply enables you to specify the name of the class. Later, when you establish equipment models used for defining equipment, you are able to select the class for the model (i.e. chainsaw, pickup truck, blower, etc.).

Click on the More menu in the upper right corner to delete an equipment class. The Delete option will only be enabled and permit you to delete the equipment class if the class has not yet been linked to an equipment model.
