The Crew Mobile App is available for iPhones or Androids to support crew members entering time and job information while in the field. Key capabilities of the Crew Mobile App include:
- Clocking In and Out – Allows the crew leader and crew members to clock in and out at the beginning or end of the day (and/or for lunch breaks)
- Daily Plan – Daily Plan allows crew leaders to view the list of materials that will be required for the jobs they have scheduled for the day.
- Issue Management – Viewing and responding to issues that have been assigned to the crew leader, or that are associated with the work tickets assigned to the crew leader.
- Work Time Management – Starting and stopping time on services being performed throughout the day to track how much time is being spent by crew members on each job.
- Time Log Access – Crew members and crew leaders can access a weekly timesheet to view their logged hours and any correction requests. The Time Log button is available when the Allow Correction Requests in Mobile setting is enabled in Branch Configuration. Users can request corrections and see the outcomes directly within the Crew Mobile App.
- Equipment Meter Reading – Crew leaders can enter periodic (i.e. daily or weekly) meter readings (miles or hours) read from equipment onsite. This information is collected when the crew leader clocks out for the day for equipment assigned to the crew leader’s route.
- Information Collection through Forms – Forms created by management can be displayed in the Crew Mobile app to collect desired management information. Information collection forms can be displayed when the crew leader clocks in, when they clock out, and/or when they complete a work ticket.
- Requesting Service on Equipment – Crew leaders can submit requests for service to be performed on equipment assigned to their routes. These requests for service become available on the Equipment Services Due Search List screen so that they can be addressed.
