Rolling Budget Report

Aspire provides the ability to view the annual budget the company has created for the current year in a rolling view that replaces budget numbers with actuals as the year progresses. Actuals are displayed for closed months in the current fiscal year. The Rolling Budget Report as depicted below is available on the Reports screen to users whose role has the Rolling Budget Report permission.
As the company closes months throughout the year, the report depicts Actuals (highlighted in blue) instead of budget numbers to represent progress throughout the year.
Rolling Budget Report Filters
Select Update Report Filters from the top of the Rolling Budget Report to customize how the report is displayed.
Screen Element | Description |
---|---|
View Type | Allows you to select the level of detail to be provided in the report. The default is the Summary view which is depicted above. The other option is the Detail view which breaks out the budget/actual numbers for each branch/division. |
Fiscal Year | Determines the fiscal year for which to display the budget. |
Revenue | Determines whether the report displays earned revenue or invoiced revenue. |
Branch | Determines branches for which information is represented in the report. |
Division | Determines divisions for which information is represented in the report. |
Making New Reports Available in Aspire
Aspire system permissions associated with user roles determine reports to which specific employees have access. Periodically, new reports are released in Aspire. When new reports become available in an Aspire release, it is necessary for you to update role security to make those reports available to appropriate roles in the organization.
