As an admin user, you can set up Aspire so subcontractors are allowed by the Subcontractor Portal to enter time for closed months. The option called Allow Sub Portal Time After Month Has Been Closed can be found on the Time Reporting tab of the Application Configuration screen.
When a subcontractor adds time or material allocations to a closed month through the subcontractor portal, the work ticket time or material allocation shows up on the Time Entry screen when the time was entered, not the date selected by the subcontractor. When viewing the Time Entry screen, Aspire places an Actual Services Rendered Dateicon next to entries for which subcontractor time was added in a closed month. When you hover over this icon, Aspire displays the date the service was rendered as specified by the subcontractor.
