Customer Portal 2.0 Enhancements
What’s New
Aspire has expanded Customer Portal 2.0 with new features that enhance customer interactions, payment processing, and pricing configuration. These updates provide greater flexibility in managing financial transactions and customer engagement.
Prerequisites
Ensure the Customer Portal 2.0 module is enabled in Application Configuration to access these features.

Application Configuration: Updates to the Customer Portal 2.0 settings
Show visits to customers in the portal.
Pricing Display Options to show or hide detailed service pricing.
Payment settings to define payment types and ranges, including:
Enabling/disabling ACH and Card payments.
Setting minimum and maximum amounts per payment type.
Invoice and Proposal Screens:
Print and Email Actions:
Allows publishing invoices and proposals to the portal.
Visit Details
The Visits screen in Customer Portal 2.0 displays the most recent visit and the next scheduled visits within the next 30 days for the selected property or all Properties by default. To view additional visits, select Load More.
Select a visit to display detailed visit information.
Visit notes are limited to those marked Publish to Portal in Aspire Cloud to control visibility.
Note:
You must enable Show Visits for Customer Portal 2.0 in the Application configuration for visits to display in the portal.
Payment Configuration updates
Within Application Configuration - Customer Portal 2.0, configure payment preferences, including ACH and credit card options.
Enable or disable specific payment types.
Set minimum and maximum payment amounts per payment type.
Allow or restrict partial payments based on payment configurations:
If all enabled payment methods have maximum amounts, partial payments are required.
If any method lacks a maximum amount, partial payments can be disabled.
Publish to Portal Feature
A new Publish to Customer Portal checkbox is now available on the print and email screens for proposals and invoices. It is also included in Visit Notes to share notes with customers.
These enhancements help Aspire clients configure their Customer Portal more effectively, ensuring a seamless and controlled customer experience.
