Aspire defines two types of opportunities: contracts and work orders. Both contracts and work orders represent agreements with customers for the company to perform work.
Contract
A contract is one of two types of opportunities – the other type being a Work Order. Contracts are used for recurring jobs to be performed over a time period and can be renewed from year-to-year.
Contracts allow the user to add optional services to the proposal that they give to the customer. If the customer decides to purchase the optional service, they will create a separate work order to manage the work.
Work Order
A work order is one of two types of opportunities – the other type being a Contract. Work orders are used for one-time jobs that do not have recurring schedules.
