Article Summary

This Additional Information section of the Contacts screen provides additional information about the contact and displays a list of properties with which the contact is associated.

The following table describes the screen elements:

Screen ElementDescription
OwnerAllows you to specify the system user who has primary responsibility for maintaining the contact information. This field determines which contacts a user can edit if they are limited to the Edit My Contacts permission. The drop-down provides a list of active system users as defined on the User screen.
WebsiteAllows you to provide a web address (URL) associated with the contact. For example, the website of the contact’s company.
TagsAllows you to add a tag or identifier that helps to identify, locate, or describe the contact. The list of available contact tags is established and maintained by the Tags Search List screen. If you have the System Admin permission, then the label for this field is displayed as a hyperlink allowing them to go directly to the Tags Search List screen to add or edit tags, and then return to select one.
Prompt for Sub Crew Size in MTIME

Aspire allows for contractors (or employees) to be set up so that they can simultaneously clock in and out multiple unidentified team members. Checking this checkbox when a contact is created causes Aspire to create a second contact identical to the first, but with the word CREW appended to the last name. After saving the contact, if you return to the Info tab of the Contact screen, a hyperlink will be displayed representing the name of the secondary contact. Clicking the hyperlink will take you to that automatically created contact record.

When the crew leader has been properly set up in this manner, and they clock in, Aspire will prompt them to specify the number of team members working in addition to himself. When the time has been clocked for a job, Aspire generates two-time entries; one for the crew leader and another that combines the time of all the other crew members. 

When the Prompt for Sub Crew Size option is enabled and you save the contact, the branch and company fields are also applied to the crew contact record.

Secondary Address InfoAllows you to provide a second set of address information for the contact.
