6.19.0 Item Catalog Price Overrides
What’s New?
As a system administrator in Aspire, you can now directly set override prices at the catalog level, enhancing control and precision in managing project costs. We've introduced Allocation Unit Item Price Override for individual items and Allocation Unit Kit Price Override for kits, both of which are available for bidding.
Key Improvements:
- New fields, Allocation Unit Item Price Override and Allocation Unit Kit Price Override, are now available on the screens for Labor, Material, Equipment, Sub, Kits, and Other (Administration > Estimating > Item Catalog).
Screen Element Descriptions:
- Allocation Unit Item Price Override: Set the unit item override price directly at the catalog level, ensuring the correct price is used in estimates. When an item with an override price is added to an estimate, Aspire uses the catalog price as the overridden price.
- Allocation Unit Kit Price Override: Set the unit kit override price directly at the catalog level. When a kit with an override price is added to an estimate, Aspire uses the catalog price as the overridden price.
Considerations when creating an estimate:
- If the override value is higher than the standard value, Aspire highlights the field in green.
- If the override value is lower than the standard value, Aspire highlights the field in yellow.
