Article Summary

The Sales Scorecard KPI depicted below provides managers with an understanding of how sales progress relative to sales goals established in Sales Scorecards.

The Sales Scorecard view of the KPI screen shown above allows you to define the information on the Sales Scorecard KPI Chart, shown below.

The Sales Scorecard KPI Chart shows two pairs of bars representing:

  1. Proposed – Shows total estimated revenue for opportunities proposed during the specified period calculated in the same manner as the Proposed Actuals on the Sales Scorecard, next to budgeted proposed revenue for the same period based on the selected Sales Scorecard.
  2. Closed – Shows total estimated revenue for opportunities won during the specified period calculated in the same manner as the Closed Actuals on the Sales Scorecard, next to budgeted closed revenue for the same period based on the selected Sales Scorecard.

The opportunities for which estimated revenue will be included are further refined by the selections made on the Sales Scorecard view of the KPI screen as described in the table below.

Screen ElementDescription
KPI or Insight TypeWhen initially creating a new KPI element for display, this field allows you to choose one of the six KPI types and determines which view is used for accepting KPI parameters. When editing an existing KPI element, this field is read-only.

The Proposed Actual bar includes estimated revenue for opportunities whose proposed date is within the time range. The Closed Actual bar includes estimated revenue for opportunities whose won date is within the time range.
