The Opportunity Template screen allows you to specify default information that will be filled into a newly created opportunity based on the template. This screen is accessed by selecting a template from the Opportunity Template Search List screen.
It behaves the same as the Opportunity screen except that instead of modifying an opportunity, you are modifying a template upon which new opportunities may be based. For field descriptions, see the Opportunity screen.
