Aspire defines two types of opportunities: contracts and work orders. Both contracts and work orders represent agreements with customers for the company to perform work.
Contract
A contract is one of two types of opportunities – the other type being a Work Order. Contracts are used for recurring jobs to be performed over time and can be renewed from year to year.
Contracts allow you to add optional services to the proposal you give to the customer. If the customer purchases the optional service, you can create a separate work order to manage the work.
Work Order
A work order is one of two types of opportunities – the other type being a Contract. Work orders are used for one-time jobs that do not have recurring schedules.
