Overview
Route visibility controls which routes crew leaders can view and download in Aspire Mobile. Turn on Restrict Mobile Route Visibility so crew leaders only see the routes assigned to them, then let specific users view all routes when they need to.
Things to know
- Restricting route visibility applies to your entire Aspire account.
- The View all Routes in Mobile checkbox only appears on the user details screen after you turn on the restriction for your Aspire account.
- In Aspire Mobile, the restriction affects the routes available on the Daily Plan and Ticket Schedule screens.
Requirements
- The System Admin permission.

What happens next
Route visibility in Aspire Mobile depends on both settings:
- Restrict Mobile Route Visibility turned off: Crew leaders can view and select any route.
- Restrict Mobile Route Visibility turned on: Crew leaders only see routes where they're assigned as the crew leader or route manager. They can't view or download other routes.
- Restrict Mobile Route Visibility turned on and View all Routes in Mobile selected: The user can view all routes. Assigned routes are available when they log in. They need to download unassigned routes before they can access route data.
Selecting a route in Aspire Mobile
- Crew leaders select a route from the route filter at the top of the Daily Plan or Ticket Schedule screen. Changing the route on one screen updates the other.
- To access an unassigned route, tap the download icon next to the route. Downloaded routes stay on the device for 7 days.
- If a crew leader selects a route other than their assigned route, it stays the default for 24 hours, even if they log out.
