This article explains how to view and manage details for SMS messages sent through Marketing Pro, including how to link them to related records and add attachments.
The SMS screen shows you the details of text messages sent from your Marketing Pro campaigns. These messages appear in Aspire as activities, so you can track message content, delivery status, and link them to customer records.

Track message history by viewing the message content, delivery status, and event type.
Keep your records organized by linking an SMS to a property, opportunity, or work ticket.

Sent By | Displays “Marketing Pro” for all SMS messages sent from Marketing Pro campaigns. |
Sent Date | Date and time the SMS was sent. |
To | Multi-select box allowing you to choose individuals from Aspire contacts to receive the SMS. Adding a contact to the To field makes the SMS activity available in the Activities List on that contact’s screen. Recipients in the To field can also be used to filter the Activities search list based on the Assigned to Contact field. If an unknown phone number is detected (not linked to any Aspire contact), an Assign Contact to Unknown Number icon may display, selecting it allows you to link the number to an existing contact or mark it as ignored in the future. |
CC | Optional field to include additional Aspire contacts as SMS recipients. CC recipients also see the SMS in their Activities List and can be used as a filter in Activities search. Unknown number handling works the same as for the To field. |
Regarding | Dropdown for linking the SMS to a related record: Property, Opportunity, or Work Ticket. Once linked, the SMS will also be accessible from the More Activities icon on the related record’s screen. Selecting a record displays an icon showing the type of record and a push-pin icon for mapping its location via Google Maps. |
Subject | Auto-filled with “Marketing Pro –” followed by the campaign subject line. If not auto-filled (non-campaign messages), this field can be edited. |
Message | Displays the text of the SMS, including delivery status or event type (such as Delivered, Sent, Opt Out, Reply). If multiple events occur, counts may appear (e.g., “3 Replies”). |
Attachments | Displays the number of files currently attached. This number is shown as a clickable link.

Save | Saves any edits or updates to the SMS activity record, including changes to recipients, regarding links, or attachments. |
