Time Reporting in the Crew Mobile App

  • PDF

Article summary

The Crew Mobile App provides an interface designed for specific functions of landscape crew members in the field for use on a mobile phone or tablet. It is mainly used for reporting time as crews clock in and out each day for the recording of their time, and for reporting time spent on specific jobs. If your Aspire administrator has enabled the correct permissions, crew members can submit time correction requests through Crew Mobile.

For more information on time reporting in the Crew Mobile App see Crew Mobile Getting Started.

Time correction requests

Crew members and crew leaders can access a weekly timesheet to view their logged hours and any correction requests. The Time Log button is available when the Allow Correction Requests in Mobile setting is enabled in Branch Configuration. Users can request corrections and see the outcomes directly within the Crew Mobile App.

Prerequisites:

Steps to Review Your Weekly Timesheet and Request Time Corrections:

  1. Select Time Log from the Crew Mobile menu. The Time Log Details page displays your weekly logged hours.
  2. Choose a day to view or edit the time entry details.
  3. To request a time correction, select the day you want to edit. The Request Change screen opens.
  4. Edit the Clock In or Clock Out times as needed. The Hours update accordingly.
  5. Add details in the Employee Note field (up to 500 characters).
    Tip:
Once available, review your manager's response in the Manager’s Note field.

  7. Select Agree to verify the new hours and submit your request.

Results

After submission, you'll return to the main screen. Select Time Log to check the status of your request, which updates to Pending, Approved, or Denied. Select the specific day to view the Original Clock Times and your Dispute Clock Time request.

When a time correction request is submitted through Crew Mobile, Aspire generates an alert in the desktop Resource Center, labeled Pending Time Correction Requests, to notify operations managers of the pending request.
