The following information describes the opportunities-oriented Permissions that can be assigned to user roles.

Select/Deselect All

Allows administrators to enable or disable all permissions in the Opportunities category with a single action.


Add Opportunity

Allows you to create new opportunities from the Property Details screen. Requires View Opportunities permission.


Edit My Opportunities

Allows you to edit opportunities where you are the designated sales rep. Requires View Opportunities permission. Without edit access, users seeopportunities as read-only from the Property Details screen or the Opportunity module. 


Edit All Opportunities

Allows you to edit any opportunity, regardless of the assigned sales rep. Requires either View Opportunities or View Only My Opportunities permission to access opportunities.


Delete Opportunities

Allows you to delete opportunities with the following statuses:

  • Incomplete Estimate

  • Marked as Lost

Delete actions display in the three-dot menu on the Estimate or Opportunity screens when applicable.


View Opportunities

Allows users to access the Opportunities module and view all opportunities.

  • Enables visibility on the Property Details screen and the Work Ticket screen.

Required for nearly all opportunity-related tasks.


View Only My Opportunities

Restricts visibility to opportunities where you are the assigned sales rep. If View Opportunities is enabled, it overrides this restriction.
You can only view opportunities on properties you have permission to access.


Win Contracts

Allows you to mark contract-type opportunities as Won using the Options or Bulk Actions menu.


Win Work Orders

Allows you to mark work order-type opportunities as Won using the Options or Bulk Actions menu.


Lose Opportunities

Allows you to mark opportunities as Lost using the Options or Bulk Actions menu.


Sales Manager

Allows you to view, create, and edit sales scorecards for other employees on the Scorecards tab of the Contact screen. Users without Edit Contact or My Contacts permission can only edit the scorecard section.


Change Contract Opportunity

Allows users to initiate changes to Won contracts and Change Orders for Work Order opportunities.

  • On contracts, users can select Change from the 3-dot menu on Won opportunities.

  • On work orders, users can select Add Change Order.

  • Allows users to change the End Date for opportunities in Won, Pending Approval, or In Production status.

  • If this permission is unchecked, the End Date field becomes read-only once the contract or work order is marked as Won.


View Read-Only Estimates

Allows you to access the Estimate screen for an opportunity in a read-only state. This permission is useful for users who have View Opportunities but not Edit All Opportunities.


Annual Renewals

Allows you to perform bulk renewals of contract opportunities. Enables the Renew option in the Bulk Actions menu on the Opportunity Search List screen.


Uncancel Opportunity

Allows you to restore a canceled opportunity. The Uncancel option appears in the Options menu when applicable.


Job Dashboard

Allows you to open the Job Dashboard from the top navigation menu on the Opportunity screen.


Cancel Contract

Allows you to cancel a Won contract. Cancels related work tickets and marks the contract as closed. Available in the Options menu when allowed.


Cancel Work Order

Allows you to cancel a Work Order-type opportunity. This action appears in the Options menu when the opportunity is in a cancellable status.


Modify SOV After Opportunity Is Won

Allows you to edit the Schedule of Values (SOV)  for Fixed Price Open Billing Work Orders after the opportunity is marked as Won. Without this permission, the SOV is locked once the contract is won or in production.


Import Estimate

Allows users to import estimate templates or structured data into the Estimate screen for an opportunity. Available from the Options menu on the Estimate screen.


Edit Default Hourly Pay Codes in Any Stage

Allows you to update the default hourly pay code on services in the Estimate screen, even after the opportunity is in Pending Approval, Won, or In ProductionThis permission helps avoid creating a change order to update a pay code for a work ticket.
