During the estimating process, you can print or email a proposal from the Print Proposal or Email Proposal options in the three dots menu of the Opportunity or Estimate screen to provide the draft or final proposal to the customer or others in the organization. When you print or email a proposal while the opportunity is in the Approved status, Aspire changes the status to Delivered, indicating that the proposal has been delivered to the customer for signature. You can choose the print layout for the proposal when you print or email it. Aspire remembers the layout they prefer, so the next time they print or email the proposal, the selected design will be the default. You can also create an email content template for proposal emails. Once saved, the template displays in the Template dropdown. Selecting a template populates the subject line and body. When the opportunity status is still bidding, a DRAFT watermark will still appear to indicate that the estimate is incomplete.
If the system is set up to allow the customers to electronically sign proposals, when you send the email(s) from the Bulk Email Opportunity Proposal screen, Aspire will send the email to the client that will initiate the customer signature process as described in the next section. Note that the behavior of the customer's electronic signature experience is dependent on the status of the opportunity.
