Work Ticket Menu

The Work Ticket menu is displayed when you select the More actions menu for a work ticket in the Allocated to Job Section of the Time Entry screen. The following table describes the available options. |
Menu Option | Description |

Open Work Ticket | Displays the Work Ticket screen, allowing you to display information about the work ticket. |
Add New Job Row | Adds another row to the grid for the same work ticket as the one that was selected to display the menu. This is sometimes necessary for the following reasons:

Add Material | Materials are commonly purchased on a purchase receipt directly to a work ticket. When this occurs, it is not necessary to explicitly add materials to a work ticket using this option. However, if materials are added to a work ticket from inventory or Job Inventory, and the crew leader did not add them from their mobile device, this option will be used. Selecting this option displays the Item Allocation screen, allowing you to select an item from an inventory location or job inventory. When you save the selection, the item line is added under the work ticket, and a field is provided for you to enter the number of items allocated from inventory. In addition to allocating inventory items to a work ticket, Aspire also allows equipment time to be allocated from the Item Allocation screen. If any catalog equipment items are flagged with the Allocate from Mobile option, then those equipment items will be available in this list. Equipment items added in this manner are always allocated in units of hours. |
Swap Ticket Costs | This option is used when a crew member or office worker has added work time to the wrong work ticket, and the office user wants to move the time and materials placed on the ticket to the proper one. Upon completing this operation, the work ticket previously displayed will be replaced by another one you select. Selecting this option displays the Swap Work Ticket Costs Search List screen from which you select the target work ticket. Aspire prevents swapping time to an indirect work ticket. |
View Completed Form | If a Complete Work Ticket Form has been published for the service represented by the tile and the crew leader has provided form responses, this menu option will be available. Selecting this menu option displays the most recent form responses for the work ticket. |
