Enhanced Schedule of Values

We've revamped the Schedule of Values (SOV) in Aspire to improve construction project management. These SOV enhancements will reduce friction during your SOV experience and allow for better flexibility in creating and editing SOVs.

Key improvements:

  • SOV Creation: When you select Edit Schedule of Values while viewing an estimate, the SOV automatically includes the estimate's groupings, keeping the names used for groups and services.
  • Simplify Identical Services: If the same services don't require individual tracking and share a name, Aspire combines them for a cleaner SOV.
  • Smart Organization: Services across different groups are organized to maintain clarity, with unique names or identifiers to prevent mix-ups.
  • Flexible SOV Revisions: Save changes to an SOV at any stage, allowing for adjustments before final submission.
  • Balanced SOVs for Success: Before finalizing Opportunities and Change Orders, Aspire will verify that the SOV and estimate match for transition to project execution.

Price Override Options

As a system administrator, you can now set override prices directly at the catalog level in Aspire. We've introduced Allocation Unit Item Price Override for individual items and Allocation Unit Kit Price Override for kits, both available for bidding. This enhancement offers greater control and accuracy in managing project costs. For more information, see Item Catalog Price Overrides.

Inova Integration Enhancements

  • Overtime Premium in Inova Settings: New features in Inova Settings enable you to select both Base Rate and Premium for Overtime. Overtime Premium details now appear on a distinct line in reports, simplifying worker's compensation and financial documentation for clearer insights. 
  • Direct Payroll File Transfer to Inova: We've streamlined payroll by enabling direct file transfers from Aspire to Inova, eliminating manual export and import steps. With a simple API credential setup and the click of an Export button, files are automatically sent to Inova Payroll Services (IPS), and you can easily track the import status within Aspire.
  • Time-Off Management with Inova Integration: We've enhanced the Inova integration in Aspire for seamless time-off management. You can check balances for vacation, sick time, and other categories, request or cancel time off, and receive notifications at each step. As a manager, you have the flexibility to approve, modify, or reject time-off requests within Aspire, ensuring efficient time management for all.

Customer Portal 2.0 Beta Release

Introducing Customer Portal 2.0, featuring a modernized user experience with enhanced features. This new version includes a sleek UI, mobile responsiveness, and a new configuration page for easy customization. Clients can now enjoy improved navigation, access to invoices and proposals, and the convenience of making payments via card with CVV or ACH. For more information, see Customer Portal 2.0.

Note:
Customer Portal 2.0 is currently in a beta version and is accessible to select clients while Aspire continues to refine and optimize its functionality. 

💭 Work Ticket Cancellation 

Boost efficiency by quickly pinpointing the reason behind a work ticket cancellation. As an admin user, you now have the option to customize work ticket cancellation reasons and activate a feature requiring that one of these reasons be selected before confirming a cancellation.
