Optional Workflow Change
This change is optional to add to your existing workflows.
Crew leaders can now switch equipment for a crew member during an active work ticket time without stopping and restarting the ticket. Choose to correct the equipment on the current time entry or start tracking time on a new piece of equipment.

What’s Changing with Equipment on Work Tickets
Previously, if a crew member was assigned the wrong equipment or needed to move to a different piece of equipment mid-job, the crew leader had to stop time on the active work ticket, select the new equipment, and restart time on the ticket. This interrupted the time tracking record and created multiple work ticket and time entry records for the same job and same employees. Now, crew leaders can tap the equipment assignment for any actively working crew member, search for the correct equipment, and choose whether to correct the existing record or start fresh time on the new equipment — all without stopping work.

Notice the wrong equipment is assigned to a crew member.
Stop work for that crew member.
Select the correct equipment.
Restart work for the crew member.

Tap the equipment assignment for a crew member who is actively working.
Search for and select the correct equipment from the equipment list.
Choose Correct equipment or Start time on new equipment from the confirmation dialog.
Impact: Crew leaders save time and maintain clean labor records by switching equipment in a single action instead of a multi-step stop-and-restart process. Office staff also spend less time manually adjusting time entries, improving the approval process.
