For any token field that includes a number, like opportunity number or proposal number, your formatting goes after the token name inside the bracket, separated by an exclamation mark (!).

Example
For Proposal Description 1
This agreement, dated [OpportunityProposedDate!MMMM d, yyyy] between Landscape Management, and [PropertyName] located at [PropertyAddressLine1], [PropertyCity], [PropertyStateProvinceName] [PropertyZipCode], shall begin on [OpportunityStartDate!MMMM dd, yyyy] and shall end on [OpportunityEndDate!MMMM dd, yyyy]. For Proposal Description 2
