Overview

When you’re talking to a customer, you need quick access to the most relevant information about what’s been happening with their property. That’s where the property timeline feature comes in. It provides a quick overview of activity and events related to the property, including visits, invoicing, and more.

This article explains how to use the Timeline feature when viewing a property’s details and in the property side panel.

Accessing the property timeline

There are two places you can access the property timeline:

  • When viewing a property in the Properties module, select the Timeline tab below the Notes section.
The timeline section highlights scheduled visits and work tickets for property management.

  • When viewing a property side panel in the Properties module or in an opportunity, invoice, or work ticket, select the Timeline tab. Learn more in our article about using the property side panel.

Using the property timeline

Whether you’re accessing the timeline in a side panel, or on a property’s details page, the timeline provides key information about what’s been happening with the property. Information includes:

  • Invoices

  • Payments

  • Issues

  • Work ticket visits

  • Activities (Tasks, Appointments, Emails)

  • Site Audits

Note:

The timeline only shows actions taken on the property within the last 90 days.

Use the tabs in the timeline to filter by All, Activity, Property, or Invoicing categories. Click on a timeline event to view the related invoice, visit, work ticket, etc.

Exporting timeline data

Select the Export button to print the timeline or save it as a PDF. You can then distribute it to your team or customers as you like. The export only includes the details included in the timeline, and items aren’t clickable if saved in a PDF.
