The Calendar module simply lets you keep track of Tasks and Appointments. You can even sync it with your Microsoft Outlook or Gmail calendars so you can view and track everything in one place. Normally, you can only view Tasks and Appointments assigned to you, but with the right permissions, you can also view calendar entries assigned to other users in your organization.
When Aspire synchronizes with the email system it looks back ten days and forward sixty days to identify appointments to update.
Anatomy of the Calendar Module
Screen Element | Description |
---|---|
Contacts | This field lets you search for and select employee contacts to view their Calendars. Other people's private appointments will still appear, but they'll simply say "Private", and you can't view appointment details. |
View Selector | This selector lets you switch between day, week, month, or agenda views. Agenda view shows one week of tasks and appointments, starting from the current day. |
Calendar refresh icon | If you've connected an Outlook or Gmail calendar to Aspire, it automatically syncs once per hour. Click the calendar refresh icon to immediately sync the Calendar. Syncing can take a couple minutes. |
Date Selector | The date selector arrows let you toggle the calendar's currently selected view backward and forward. Click the date drop-down to choose a specific date. |
