Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are numeric measures of business performance for managers that can be represented in high-level charts. You can establish annual revenue and cost budgets against which these KPIs are visually displayed.
You can view, create, and manage KPIs on the Aspire Dashboard.
Create a new KPI or Insight
Before you begin
Make sure you’ve added the KPIs and Insights column to the Dashboard from your user settings. To learn how to add columns to the Dashboard, read our article about editing your user settings.
First, click the image in the top left corner of any page in Aspire to access the Dashboard.
Click the three-dot icon at the top right corner of any existing KPI, then select New.

Select a KPI or Insight Type. Options include:
Enter a KPI or Insight Name that appears on the KPI card on the Dashboard. This name should clearly tell you what the KPI is showing.
Select a Date Range for which the KPI will show data.
Depending on which KPI or Insight Type you select, additional fields appear that you must fill in. Click the links above for details on additional fields for each KPI and Insight.
When you’re done configuring the KPI, click Save. The new KPI appears on the Dashboard!
View a KPI and Insight Chart Drilldown List
Five of the KPIs support drill-down so you can view additional information that supports the chart. When you drill down, you can save the displayed results as HTML, PDF, or a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet format if you have the Allow Export permission. The following KPI charts are supported.

Completed Labor Efficiency (supports drill-down)
Forecast (supports drill-down)
Overhead Recovery (supports drill-down)
Profit and Loss
Sales Scorecard (supports drill-down)
Each of these charts, their drill-down options, and their configurations are described below under their respective KPI Screen views.
Click on the bar graph on the card to view the drill-down search list.
